Meeting with Pablo Sanchez Bergasa

We have had the immense honor of hearing from engineer Pablo Sanchez Bergasa, recipient of the Princess of Girona Foundation Social Award 2025. Discovering how he began by fixing the taillight of his grandfather’s beloved car sparked his curiosity for electronics, which led him to create in3ator, a low-cost neonatal incubator for under-resourced hospitals that has saved the lives of 5,000 babies.

It all started in Cameroon with the miracle baby and has since spread to more than 30 countries, thanks to Salesian vocational training students who assist in its manufacturing. Putting talent, innovation, sustainability, and social commitment at the service of others is not only the work of a good engineer like Pablo, but also of an even better person.
